I was reminded of it today when my friend’s young children shed a quart of tears over the accidental death of a duck, and I found myself wishing I still cried over roadkill.

I don’t actually know Amanda, who keeps the most phenomenal food blog I’ve read, but I feel as though I do.  She’s a good friend of my friend Erin.
