Sorry again for the lack of blogging. I’ve been terrible. But I want to talk to you today about something really, really important: Chuck. Chuck is absolutely my favourite TV show at the moment, which is a rather large call, given that it trumps Gossip Girl. But it is. It’s a wonderfully constructed show, with impressive characterisation and, [...] I’ve been wondering a bit lately about motivation- particularly, why this blog is languishing, and why I don’t read nearly as much as I did before uni- cumulatively, including my assigned readings- now that I’m doing my masters. It’s not as though I’m doing this degree to open doors or provide opportunities- though I’m certain it [...] With rare exceptions, I read two types of blogs: blogs about politics and current affairs, and blogs about cooking. Sometimes, I get both in one (which is why I heart the IFA). But recently, I’ve realised a problem with my love affair with cooking blogs. Most of them come from the Northern Hemisphere. As the internet gets bigger, [...] I’ve been working on a little project recently: I’m trying to outline, for myself, my personal political manifesto. There are several things I believe strongly, and other things I’ve started to understand, or try to understand, recently. Fitting it into a cohesive personal platform is really challenging, but I think useful for someone with burgeoning political [...] I’m back, I promise.
